The First Sign Beyonce’s Dad Saw Before Cancer Diagnosis

Matthew Knowles says he has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and now Beyonce is being tested to determine whether she carries the breast cancer gene. The 67-year-old family patriarch opened up about his illness to “Good Morning America” co-anchor Michael Strahan Tuesday morning. "I went to my doctor, got a mammogram and it became very clear that I had breast cancer,” he said. One of the first things he did was call his famous daughters, Beyonce and Solange, since the disease is genetic.

Bianca and Nick Bowser, who were born male and female, respectively, conceived their two sons naturally. While the couple both identify as transgender, they have not gone through gender reassignment -- which caused Nick to carry the pregnancies. The Long Island, New York, family showed off the aged appliance, which still works. It even has a bread warmer.
